The Leader in You (TLIY) Education Advocate Workshops at Thea Bowman Leadership Academy
Join us at Thea Bowman Leadership Academy located at 3401 W 5th Ave, Gary, IN 46406, on Thursday, October 19, 2023, ⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM CT for The Leader in You (TLIY) “Education Advocate Workshops” is a series of deep dives into the tools that everyone needs to be a prepared and effective education advocate.
Topics include:
⭐ Developing your story
⭐ Building coalitions
⭐ Influencing policymakers.
Sessions will be held at Thea Bowman Leadership Academy in the cafeteria located at West 5th Ave, Gary. To enter, go through door “G.” Each session begins at 6:00 pm CST and will include dinner, childcare, and tutoring.

Empower to Power Seminar at TBLA
Thea Bowman Leadership Academy will host the Empower to Power Seminar on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, from 11 AM to 3 PM (CT) at 3401 W 5th Ave, Gary, IN 46406.
The event is FREE for children, adults, and families, providing support, advocacy, and empowerment for loved ones with disabilities.
